2014 was, by and large, a good year for THE GRIND. It saw the release of ISSUES II and III, the release of REMNANTS, our first printed pamphlet, and the hugely successful food bank fundraisers in Falkirk and Glasgow with [Untitled].
2015 looks to be continuing in a similar vein. Our sold out Edinburgh food bank fundraiser looks like it will be an amazing night and will help countless people in need, and REMNANTS is selling nicely with copies being sent as far afield as Aberdeen and Australia. So what else does 2015 hold for THE GRIND? ISSUE IV will be released in the coming weeks, hugely delayed, but well worth the wait. ISSUE V will follow in the Spring. We will also very shortly be accepting submissions for our next big project. Keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter feeds for more information. If you were looking to keep a very specific eye on them, we'd suggest 19.01.15. That seems like enough for now. More will follow, as it always does. 2014 happened and it was a good year by and large. We released ISSUE II and ISSUE III and people seemed to like them. We also had a fantastic honour of working with [Untitled] to raise money for food banks in Falkirk and Glasgow, with another show in the works for Edinburgh in January 2015. This show may or may not coincide with the release of ISSUE IV. Last, but not least, we are delighted to have released our first print issue; REMNANTS.
We have a great deal to be thankful for. The end of this year has been marred by tragedy for many in Glasgow and our thoughts are with them over the festive period. We hope that you have a merry Christmas, happy holiday, or a decent December. Thank you for reading The Grind. Tickets for our EDINBURGH food bank fundraiser are on sale now! Ticklets are a minimum of £5 and all proceeds will go to food banks in Edinburgh.
